How to Get Involved
Shoebox coordinates an ongoing effort for the collection and distribution of toiletry kits for people who need but cannot afford these items. Through our distribution network, Shoebox gives kits to individuals experiencing homelessness, domestic violence victims, abused and neglected children, the working poor, and other people who need but cannot afford these items.
Current Ways to Help:
November 1- December 15: Our goal is to collect & distribute 45,000 pairs of NEW socks to warm the souls & soles of the Valley’s homeless. We need your help to collect 27,000 pairs men’s socks, and 18,000 pairs women’s socks.
We are abundantly blessed to have such an extensive food pantry on campus to serve our homeless friends. Sometimes we see people only once and then there are individuals or families that we may see several times a year. The need is real and we try to meet it as best as we can
Current needs for our closet: shelf stable milk, canned fruit, rice, pasta, spaghetti sauce, juice, chili and gravy
