The latest happenings for you & your family at MVPC
Prayer Gathering
As our church walks through a season of transition and looks ahead to the calling of our next pastor, we invite you to join us for intentional times of prayer. These gatherings are a way for us to come together as a church family—seeking God’s guidance, wisdom, and peace as we move forward together.
We will gather on the second Tuesday of each month in Annex #101, with two opportunities to participate:
Midday Prayer: 11:00–11:45am
Evening Prayer: Soup at 5:30pm | Prayer from 6:00–6:45pm
Upcoming Dates:
April 14
May 12
June 9
When God’s people pray together, good things happen—sometimes quietly, sometimes powerfully, always faithfully. Come as you are, bring a friend, and let’s place this season in God’s hands.
Intergenerational Ladies' Tea
You’re invited to a delightful afternoon at our Intergenerational Ladies’ Tea! Join women and girls of all ages for a special gathering designed to bring generations together. This is the perfect event to invite your daughter, granddaughter, mother, neighbor, or friend to share in a sweet time of connection and conversation.
Enjoy light tea fare including tea sandwiches and treats as we gather for a classic fancy tea party—feel free to dress the part with your favorite dresses, hats, and gloves if you’d like to join in the fun!
The event will take place in Meredith Hall. There is no cost to attend, but please register in advance so we can plan for food and seating.
We can’t wait to share this charming afternoon together! 🫖🌸
An Evening with C.S. Lewis
Join C.S Lewis, played by renowned actor, David Payne in a one man play: C.S. Lewis. Watch this mesmerizing performance as Lewis speaks of the people and events that shaped his life: his friendship with J.R.R. Tolkien, how he turned from atheism to Christianity and became a true champion of the faith, how he navigated his journey through grief when his American wife died, and his anticipation of what awaits all followers of Jesus when they cross their mortal barrier. And all this interspersed with the humor for which he was renowned.
