Seniors Lunch: An Afternoon in Italy
Seniors Lunch: An Afternoon in Italy
Join us for a special Seniors Lunch on Thursday, October 16th at 11:30 AM as we enjoy An Afternoon in Italy! Savor a delicious Italian meal while being transported behind the scenes with the Arizona Opera Costume Shop. They’ll bring costumes to display and share how they source materials, handmake fabrics, and create their stunning designs. You’ll also get to know our new Transitional Pastor, Randy Bare, through a live interview during the program.

Author Interview: Cockroaches, God, Death, and Mangoes
We are honored to welcome Pastor Clint Leavitt of Midtown Presbyterian Church for a special conversation about his new book, Cockroaches, God, Death, and Mangoes.
This remarkable true story follows Bikonzi Moise, who—at only six years old—was taken with his mother and siblings from their home and forced into a concentration camp during the Second Congo War. What unfolds is an unforgettable journey of survival, resilience, and faith under unthinkable circumstances.
Through sacrifice, questions of God’s silence, and the persistent glimmer of hope, this story shines a light on the strength of the human spirit and the power of God’s presence even in the darkest places.
Join us for this moving and eye-opening conversation that will both challenge and inspire. Don’t miss the chance to hear directly from the author and reflect on how God meets us in suffering and hope.
