Evangelism. Compassion. Redemptive Justice.
We believe we are called to bring the message of God’s love to the world around us, both near and far. Three core values help guide us as a Missional Church:
Evangelism –that Jesus would be made known by our words and through our deeds
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19).
Compassion – helping the homeless, hungry, disadvantaged, and orphaned
How does God’s love abide in anyone who has the world’s goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help? Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action” (1 John 3:17-18; NRSV).
RedemptiveJustice – following the Holy Spirit, and through Him, make wrongs, right
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy (Proverbs 31:8-9; NIV).
