Sunday Mornings
We want to be a community of youth who are following Jesus together. Part of our belief is that we are actively involved in the larger community of Mountain View, not siloed off in our own area. Research from the Fuller Youth Institute supports the importance of integrating youth into the broader church community. According to their College Transition Project, involvement in all-church worship during high school is more consistently linked with mature faith development in high school and college than any other form of church participation.
By encouraging our youth to attend worship, we are teaching them to be active participants in the life of the church, not just attendees of a youth group. This integration helps them to develop a more robust and lasting faith. On Sunday mornings, our youth have various options: they can serve in different areas of the church, attend worship with their families, or join Jake at the Contemporary worship service.

Youth are always invited to sit with their families in our 9:00am Traditional service. Or, perhaps you are musical and would like to join our choir at 9:00am to sing each week!

Perhaps you are planning to attend the 10:15am service, but you are on-campus during the 9:00 hour. We would love to get you plugged in serving somewhere! You can help in the nursery, in Sunday School, serving coffee/donuts, or running tech for the 9:00am service. Contact Jake to get plugged in!

Each week, Jake will be in the 10:15am service and would love to have any youth sit with him. You can also attend this service with your family.

If you attended the 9:00am service, but are still on campus during the 10:15am hour, we can get you plugged in and serving in one of the following areas: Nursery, Children's Church, Coffee/Donuts. If you would like to serve during the 10:15am service and be in Meredith Hall, we also usually need someone willing to run slides for the service!

Nights
YOUTH GROUP happens Sundays from 5:30 to 8:00pm! These will be awesome nights of worship, games, food, and Bible study for any youth in Middle School through High School! A note on the time: from 5:30 to 6:00 we’ll just be hanging out and eating some dinner, then at 6:00 we’ll really kick things off.
We will continue YOUTH GROUP on Sunday Nights, with occasional breaks for holidays and camps, all school year!
Parents, we are going to need some help making this happen. If you are interested in being involved in any capacity, we would love the help! This could be anything from bringing food, to prayer, to carpooling, to being a leader there with the students.
