HOLY WEEK AT MVPC
Stations of the Cross:
Experience the Stations of the Cross at MVPC! This Lent, we invite you to step into the story of Christ’s final hours through our interactive Stations of the Cross experience. With 14 stations thoughtfully placed around our campus, this journey offers a time for reflection, prayer, and deeper engagement with Jesus’ path to the cross. Each station features interactive elements designed to bring the Gospel accounts to life in a meaningful way. Start at the cross in the courtyard where you will find a map.
Holy Week Daily Devotions at MVPC
As we journey through Holy Week together, we invite you to join us for a special time of quiet reflection and prayer each morning in the Sanctuary.
🕗 Monday–Friday | 8:00–8:30 AM
📍 In the Sanctuary
💬 Led by a different member of our MVPC staff each day
These short morning gatherings are designed to help us slow down, reflect on Scripture, and center our hearts on Christ as we move toward Easter. Each devotion will include prayer, a brief reflection, and time for silent contemplation.
Schedule of Speakers:
Monday – Jackie
Tuesday – Jake
Wednesday – Sarah
Thursday – Daniel
Friday – Jennie
No sign-up is needed. Just come as you are, enter quietly, and take a seat near the front as soft piano music sets the tone. Whether you can join us for one day or all five, we hope this time brings meaning and peace to your Holy Week.
Maundy Thursday
Join us for a meaningful Maundy Thursday service at 6:30pm on April 17th as we gather to reflect on the events leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The service will feature special music, a time of communion, and an opportunity for us to remember and honor the profound love Christ showed through His sacrifice. This service will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend in person.
Good Friday
Join us for a Good Friday service at 6:30pm on April 18th as we reflect on the passion and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The service will feature powerful choral music from Dale Woods’ A Service of Darkness, guiding us through a deep and contemplative journey of Christ’s final hours. This service will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person. We invite you to join us as we remember and honor Christ’s ultimate sacrifice through music, prayer, and reflection.
Easter Sunday
We invite you to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior with us on Easter Sunday! We have four unique services for you to choose from:
Easter Sunrise Service – 7:00 AM
Join us for a beautiful outdoor service in our courtyard to celebrate the risen Christ. This early service is a great opportunity to beat the crowds and begin your Easter morning in worship. Pastoral Intern, Jake Baldwin, will be preaching this service.
Bonus: Enjoy breakfast burritos following the service as a thank-you for starting your Easter morning with us!
Traditional Worship – 9:00 AM
Experience a traditional Easter service with our choir, filled with joyful music and celebration of Christ’s resurrection.
Contemporary Worship – 10:15 AM
Join us for a service led by our praise team, where we will celebrate the resurrection with uplifting songs and heartfelt worship.
Our Special Needs Small Group will meet during this service.
Traditional Worship – 10:45 AM
If you prefer a slightly less busy option, this traditional service with our choir offers the same powerful worship as our 9:00 AM service but with a little more room.
Please note that there will be no kids programming during the services. Families are encouraged to sit together in worship as we celebrate the hope and joy of Easter!
If you’d like to attend more than one service, consider starting the day with our Sunrise Service and joining us again later in the morning. We look forward to celebrating Easter with you!
