God of Grace and Mercy, we confess we have not loved you with our whole heart and have forgotten whose we are. We cling to a vision that the world sets before us when you have created us in your image and known us before we were formed. Forgive us, Lord, for wrapping ourselves in our own concerns, condoning evil and greed, and turning from your care and direction. Help us to admit our sin, to repent and turn to you; to receive forgiveness through Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Lord. Amen.
