PRAYER OF CONFESSION (spoken in unison)
Lord, God. We come into your presence with awe for all that fills our lives with joy, comfort, challenges, and love. Forgive us that we too often have taken these gifts for granted, failing to see them as your gifts. Forgive us for our sense of entitlement and our sense of discouragement when things don’t go as we had planned. Tear down the walls that isolate us; help us to walk together in your ways. In this time of worship, bring prayer to our hearts and minds and teach us to live in the world with faithfulness and to be at home wherever your spirit leads us through the grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
